Introducing Bathstone Garden Rooms:
Garden offices come in all shapes and sizes, and most of our buildings make perfect offices.
The important thing is to work with a client to help design and construct a building that makes working from home easy and enjoyable.
Not everybody wants the same thing, some like open views of the garden and lots of natural light, others like a more practicable building with plenty of wall space for filing cabinets and desks, and not so many windows.
Storage is always important, and we have developed ways of maximising storage space without impeding floorspace.
A comfortable working environment is crucial, and we offer many types of heating, and if necessary air conditioning.
More important than anything else is the need for insulation, and we advise people to have plenty!
We stress the importance of keeping your working space cool on hot summers days, and warm during the winter.
And the easiest and most economical way of doing this is to have a lot of ceiling insulation – even if it is slightly more expensive to start with!
How to organise a site visit or view a show building:
Because most of our buildings are bespoke we do not have a show site, but many past clients are happy to show their buildings.
We are particularly keen to ask prospective clients to visit current builds. We can show them the quality of our structures as they are being constructed, introduce them to the guys who build them, and in some cases meet present clients.
Its also a great advantage to demonstrate that we are aware of the importance of taking care of the garden we are working in!
